A James Bond Geiger-counter watch is up for auction.

Can't get enough of James Bond?

A sought-after piece from the movie 'Thunderball' is now headed for the auction block. The Geiger-counter wristwatch was recently discovered.

For many years, diehard fans had speculated where the timepiece could be. Well, it resurfaced at a car boot sale in the UK.

A lucky someone purchased the watch for under $40. Now, Christie's auction house in London expects to sell it for at least $60,000. Sean Connery was the actor who wore the piece in 1965 during the underwater scenes. It was used to detect stolen bombs.

Breitling made the standard accessory in 1962, but the James Bond art department took over and added some exterior modifications. It was the only one created for the film.

You would be surprised what can be found at fairs, markets and yard sales. Earlier this year, a Chinese bowl sold for $2.2 million at an auction.
