A forklift operator is swallowed by a hole in a warehouse floor.

Recently, a man working in a New Jersey warehouse fell through a concrete floor while operating a forklift.

Danny Rodriguez fortunately survived the traumatic incident. He had been moving pallets with the piece of machinery when the ground beneath him essentially opened up. Workers described the massive hole as about 30 to 40 feet wide and over 6 feet deep.

The gap was filled with spilt soy sauce and cooking oil, as both of those ingredients were commonly stored in the rented space. When the concrete cracked open, Rodriguez went straight down. That position helped him to avoid serious injury.

In another scary report from last year, a water main break resulted in a major sinkhole in California. A bus had descended into the gap and two male rescuers rushed to the scene to save the driver.

According to a witness, both men fell in the hole which contained so much water that it was over their heads. Thankfully, they were able to get out and no one was injured.
