Dining in the Sky Comes to Venice

A hotel in Venice offers suspended dining option to guests.
While Venice is a beautiful city, it is often packed with tourists and that makes it hard to find unique experiences.
A hotel on a Venetian island is offering both visitors and residents an option to get away from the crowds and enjoy a meal while being suspended in the air.
Called ‘the Dinner in the Sky experience’ it is essentially a platform capable of holding 22 people suspended approximately 160 feet in the air.
Measuring about 16 feet by 30 feet, the raised dining room offer luxurious meals prepared by the hotel’s chefs.
The platform also rotates 180 degrees so patrons will be able to enjoy panoramic views of Venice.
The elevated restaurant will be serving guests for a limited time from June 19th to the 23rd.
Such Dining in the air events have been at locations all over the world. Depending on the location, you could be overlooking a historic landmark or a natural landscape.
