Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg is a single-player platform game and GameCube exclusive from the Sonic The Hedgehog development team. A strange darkness has taken over Morning Land, and it's up to Billy Hatcher to dispel this darkness and return Morning Land to its sunny former glory. To do this, you'll have to roll chicken eggs, collect fruit and flatten evil crows. Like we said, the GameCube had some weird games. Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg plays like a combination of SEGA ideas, mixing the physics-based experience of Super Monkey Ball with the rolling attacks and rails of Sonic The Hedgehog. It, and its unique gameplay—not to mention strange concept—certainly make it a fitting addition to the system's quirky library of exclusives. This video review features video gameplay footage of Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg for the Nintendo GameCube and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
