Shahid Kapoor Copy's Salmam Khan In Phata Poster Nikhla Hero

Shahid Kapoor will be seen playing as a rough and tough cop in his next film, Phata Poster Nikhla Hero, and according to sources, he imitated the Dabangg star Salman Khan to prepare for his role.

Salman Khan has portrayed the character of a hard-hitting police officer in several films, and thus his performances has not only loved by his fans, but has also inspired some actors like, Shahid Kapoor. In the upcoming madcap comedy film, Phata Poster Nikhla Hero, Shahid will be seen enacting as a cop, and thus will be behaving like Salman Khan in some of the sequences.Shahid Kapoor to imitate Salmam Khan in Phata Poster Nikhla Hero
Interestingly, Shahid also took a couple of months off to prepare for his role in the film. His character in the movie is a fan of Salman Khan, and will even sport of Being Human's t-shirt. To prepare for his role, Shahid watched a few of Salman's movies too, including Wanted, Dabangg and Dabangg 2. Reportedly, there are also parts, where he will be seen behaving like Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar as well.
Written and Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, 'Phata Poster Nikhla Hero' is slated to release in theatres on September 20, 2013. Shahid is being paired opposite Barfi! actress Ileana D'Cruz in the movie.
