European aerospace group EADS is looking at changing its name to just Airbus as part of a reorganisation of some of its businesses.
The strategy shake-up reflects a greater emphasis on the commercial airliner side of the business.
That follows a set-back to its defence ambitions after an attempted merge with Britain's BAE Systems was blocked last year.
