There are two rules for typing.
1. Look for your character on screen & press/touch the indicated button.
2. Press Next list button for more letters or not present on screen.
To type Yuktakshar (Half character) , conjunct characters is also quite easy in PaniniKeypad. Just type one consonant , then put Halant character then again put a consonant character. This will make your character Half or Yuktakshars.
Examples:
पक्षी = प + क +् + ष +ी
मात्र = म +ा + त +् + र
धर्म = ध + र +् + म
ज्ञान = ज + ् + ञ + ा + न
बुद्धि = ब + ु + द + ् + ध + ि
Twice put the space button to give Purnavirama.
