Laser Sintering - blazing new trails in tool manufacturing | Made in Germany

Some components simply can't be made with a conventional milling machine. Selective laser sintering could provide the solution. With this new technology, lasers are used to fuse layers of metal powder into completely new components. The Toolcraft company in Bavaria is investing in the technology. How important will laser sintering machines be for German industry?
