Mario and Luigi: Dream Team is a RPG/platformer hybrid and the fourth game in Nintendo's Mario and Luigi series. Like prior entries, Dream Team traces much of its gameplay back to the Super NES classic, Super Mario RPG. From there, things get wacky. Dream Team finds the brothers on Pi'illo Island, a beautiful place with strange sleeping powers. When Princess Peach gets kidnapped into a world of dreams, Pi'illo Island seems a lot less beautiful. And it's up to the plumbers to save her—as well as the citizens of Pi'illo Island—on a cross-dimensional journey through two words. Fortunately, Luigi's abnormally strong sleep patterns come in handy. Mario and Luigi: Dream Team is rich in personality, giving the normally quiet brothers an adorable brotherly dynamic. The game is exclusive to the Nintendo 3DS and is a sequel to the 2010 Nintendo DS classic Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. This video review features video gameplay footage of Mario and Luigi: Dream Team for the Nintendo 3DS and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
