Pokemon Red/Blue Glitch: Skipping Brock

Step by step:
Set arrow in your menu to SAVE
Head east until the kid tries to take you back to Brock
At the end of his monologue, immediately press start
Save the game
Restart the game
Now the kid is glitched, disappears and will allow you to pass if you walk though the square he was standing on

Timing the start button right at the end of the conversation takes practice. It took me five tries to get it right.

Even though I did this on an emulator, I tested it with a real cartridge and Game Boy and it works exactly the same.
