Woman’s Suicide Attempt Injures Bystander

A woman recently committed suicide by jumping from the 12th floor of a mall in New Delhi. Before impact, she collided with a bystander, causing him serious injuries.

A 25-year-old woman recently committed suicide by jumping from the 12th floor of a mall in New Delhi, India.

The man has been identified as Sunil Kumar, who works at a Security Service shop in the mall.

Police received the call at about quarter after 11 a.m. and arrived at the scene shortly after to find both victims surrounded by a pool of blood.

Ambulances were called and the two were rushed to separate hospitals.

The woman was declared dead upon her arrival. The man is said to be in critical condition with injuries including head trauma.

As part of their investigation into the tragic event, police contacted the deceased woman’s family to try to piece together what could have happened.

Her father said that she had been suffering from a case of jaundice recently that caused her to drop a great amount of weight.

Police believe that depression resulting from her illness could have been what drove her to the suicidal act.
