Fifteen years after the release of the original game, Carnivores is back. Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter HD is a prettier version of the same Carnivores from the late nineties. Players are dropped onto an alien planet that, for some strange reason, looks a lot like prehistoric Earth. There are even massive dinosaurs roaming the surface, and fortunately, you brought a rifle. Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter HD is a hunting game with an old-school feel that bring to mind the original Carnivores, but with all-new HD graphics and lots of new dinosaurs. The game was originally released on mobile devices, but this HD console version also has its advantages. It plays great with the PlayStation's DualShock controller, which is a huge advantage over the mobile platforms, and the game is artistically solid. Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter HD was released exclusively to PlayStation platforms. This video review features video gameplay footage of Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter HD on the PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 3 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
