Prison break: Career criminals, Adrian Albrecht of Switzerland and Milan Poparovic of Bosnia and member of the Pink Panther gang, escaped from prison on July 25.

The prison is located in Orbe, Switzerland, near the French border.
Albrecht, 52, and Poparovic 34, were outside during an exercise period just before 8 p.m.
Accomplices used a white van to ram through a gate and wire fence. They fired on guards with automatic weapons to prevent them foiling the escape.
A ladder was used to enable the men to scale a fence.
The first van was torched and the four men escaped in a second vehicle.

The Pink Panthers is a mostly Eastern European gang responsible for some incredible raids on jewelry stores in the early-and-mid 2000s.
