War Thunder provides gamers with the most realistic experience possible with the sounds of real World War II tanks discharged during battle.

Visiting museums in the US, Russia and Germany, the game's sound design team was granted rare access to record the actual sounds from WWII tanks, from moving across terrain to firing rounds; a process which involved more than 15 highly sensitive microphones designed to pick up even the slightest variations in sounds.

Thanks to these efforts, players will be able to tell the difference between tanks by their sound alone.
