Boston MBTA bus crash: dramatic video released by Transit Police shows a male passenger assaulting a bus driver, resulting in his bus crashing into three parked cars. The assault and accident took place around 9:30pm on Sunday in the Chelsea neighborhood of Boston.

In the video, the male passenger can be seen boarding the bus with a female companion. The man attempts to pay and some sort of verbal argument ensues. The woman seen in the video attempts to pull the argumentative man toward the back of the bus.

But the man got into the driver's face and kept shouting at him until he was pushed away by the driver with force. This is all we see from inside the bus. There is more footage, but Transit Police have refused to release it, in order to protect the driver's identity.

An external camera on the bus then shows the bus crashing into a parked car. That parked car then smashes into two other cars parked in front of it.

The bus driver was injured in the assault and accident. Meanwhile, the conditions of the two passengers, along with their identities, remain unknown.

The one-minute video is posted on the police department's blog and police are asking witnesses to identify the man.
