Plankton has hatched a scheme to steal the recipe for the beloved Krabby Patty, and of course, it’s up to Spongebob to stop him. Spongebob Squarepants: Plankton’s Robotic Revenge is a top-down action game that combines both beat ‘em up and shoot ‘em up elements into a weird kind of blow ‘em up game. Playing as Spongebob, Patrick, Sandy, Squidward and Mr. Krabs, players take on an entire army of underwater robots! Sounds like Classic Game Room’s commute to work. There are several weapons to unlock and upgrade using gears found in the levels, so collect as many as you can. The game features some surprisingly tricky sections, including platform rides while avoiding enemy fire and chase scenes with a massive whirlpool. Spongebob Squarepants: Plankton’s Robotic Revenge is available for several platforms and is a single-player game on the Nintendo DS.
