STORY: George Clooney is not one to mince words when it comes to his beliefs on those who deny climate change. Speaking to reporters in Beverly Hills on Saturday (November 9) ahead of the BAFTA Brittania Awards, Clooney said that in the wake of one of the most violent typhoons ever recorded, those who claim humans have nothing to do with causing stronger storms are defending a "stupid" and "ridiculous" argument.
"Well, it's just a stupid argument," Clooney said on the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. "If you have 99 percent of doctors who tell you you are sick, and once percent that says 'yeah you're fine,' you'd probably want to check it up for the 99. The idea that we ignore that we are some way involved in climate change is ridiculous."
