Project Snowblind is very similar to the popular shooter Deus Ex, but there’s a major difference. It’s less about big stories than big explosions. Project Snowblind is an action-focused, action-driven, action-packed first-person shooter. It moves at a brisk pace, a refreshing chance of pace from modern games, and doesn’t bog things down with narrative pleasantries. Nathan Frost is a part of a group called the Liberty Coalition and, like Deus Ex’s Adam Jensen, he has been augmented with biomechanics. The most important thing about him, however, is that he likes to shoot things and blow up robots. And the game lets you do precisely that. Project Snowblind’s most distinguishing feature is its pace, which keeps things fast and frantic. The game also plays and looks much better than you might expect, having aged far better than most other shooters of its age. Project Snowblind supported online play and has system-link support for local multiplayer. This video review features video gameplay footage of Project Snowblind for the Xbox and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
