Bellator MMA middleweight champion Alexander "Storm" Shlemenko dispatched top challenger Doug "The Rhino" Marshall in the first round of their title fight. I expected Shlemenko to take Marshall into deep waters, maybe the end of the fourth round, but the champ wasted no time when he saw an opening. Shlemenko took Marshall down twice, but Marshall got back up both times. Then Shlemenko began his assault on Marshall's liver, targeting it again and again with kicks, knees and punches. Shlemenko eventually felled Marshall with a liver shot, scoring a KO.
