Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl goes back over the original Etrian Odyssey with a new coat of paint, and many of the technical advancements that came with the series' move to the 3DS with Etrian Odyssey IV. Streetpass tags and mechanical upgrades have been added, though the story remains... kinda the same. Kinda. Instead of assembling your own team of heroes to investigate the Yggdrasil Labyrinth, there's a new wrinkle to the plot as your party literally fall out of the sky to meet you... or, in one case, are awakened from a long stasis in a strange high-tech ruin. That is, if you so desire. You're completely welcome to tell this new cast of characters to take a hike and just play Etrian Odyssey the way it was meant to be played: As customizable as possible.
