Splotches makes you remember the most basic lesson from that art class you slept through back in 6th grade: the color wheel, combinations of colors, and the relationship between primary (red, blue, yellow) and secondary (green, purple, orange) colors. When you combine a secondary color with the primary that it's "missing," you get brown. And because this is a puzzle video game, that results in an explosion. Don't ask how, just use it to destroy the rainbow orb located in each stage and you'll be set.
