Tales of Xillia is one of those RPGs that picks and chooses good ideas from a number of other games, be they in the Tales series or elsewhere, and combines them to maximum effect. (A striking visual style with animation sequences by ufotable and a sweeping (and occasionally jazzy) Motoi Sakuraba soundtrack certainly don't hurt, though.) Mysterious swordswoman Milla is on a mission to destroy a supernatural superweapon, and hapless med student Jude just happens to get tangled up in it.
