Galaxy 61 Creates A New FX-Driven Holiday Spot For Price Chopper, Introducing An Interactive Component To The Supermarket Chain's TV Campaign

Galaxy 61 was recently called upon by Price Chopper to create a second holiday spot for the supermarket retail chain. The most recent :30 commercial, ‘Holiday Recipes,’ introduces an interactive element to the campaign, inviting customers to access a treasure trove of Price Chopper’s best recipes for the holidays – some featuring special sale prices for the ingredients - all accessible by simply clicking on the Pinterest logo on Price Chopper’s homepage. Three distinct versions of the spot were created – and the package was delivered in seven days.

Since Price Chopper Director of Creative Services, John Akots, re-connected with animator, director and VFX artist Doug Johnson, the owner, Galaxy 61 (They partnered in 2007 to create the store’s 75th Anniversary campaign), the NY-based boutique has delivered a steady flow of over 150 cost-effective and innovate commercials that communicates the retailer's ever-changing message, engages customers and drives them to their stores.
