Child Punches Grandmother Over Refusal to Purchase Toy

An 11-year-old male child in Ohio recently landed in some hot water after he reportedly assaulted his own grandmother when she flat out refused to buy him a toy.
It’s no secret that children these days have high expectations when it comes to Christmas. An 11-year-old male child in Ohio recently landed in some hot water after he reportedly assaulted his own grandmother when she flat out refused to buy him a toy.
The troubling incident unfolded at a department store in Dayton. Local police were sent to the scene after a call came in regarding an assault in progress.
The 60-year-old grandmother told officers that the child punched her in the nose when he asked for a toy and she said no. Thankfully a witness to the incident called 911.
The boy attempted to punch his grandma a second time but the elderly woman was able to run away from him. While it remains unknown if the male desired it for himself or if he wanted it as a gift for a friend or relative, the toy in question was a Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots set.
Police took the boy to the Montgomery County Juvenile Justice Center where he was officially charged with domestic violence.
