What you will see in this video are Somfy LT 30 battery motorized shades that have been converted to low voltage working with a Control 4 Automation system. The reason we used the LT30 motor on this project was due to the smaller windows and limitations on Lutron.

This was set up as a dual shade system with blackout side channels. You will notice in the video we have removed the valance to show the bracket system, but the light above the shade will be blocked with the valance.

The Somfy IRTSI 2 16 Channel Automation interface was needed to talk to the Control 4 automation system. This can be done through RS 232, RS 485, or IR (Infrared). Once you tie into an automation system, sky is the limit. As you will see we have some pretty specialized programming to show you how detailed you can get.
