Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Cubit The Hardcore Platformer Robot on the eShop for the Nintendo 3DS developed and published by CoderChild.

Vlad the Impaler, Attila the Hun—they’ve got nothing on Cubit The Hardcore Platformer Robot. This little guy may look cute, but he’ll crush your spirits faster than you can say, “Aww, what a cute robot!” This is an on-rails platformer—a runner, of sorts—in which players are responsible for pressing one button. That’s it. And yet it’s incredibly difficult! Cubit runs forward automatically, which would be fine if not for the fact that he’s stranded on platforms hovering in the sky. Players must jump from one platform to the next, avoiding plenty of enemies and obstacles along the way. The game is split into branching pathways, meaning Cubit’s run for safety can take several routes through many unique worlds. If you’re looking for a challenging platforming experience for very little money, Cubit delivers! Cubit The Hardcore Platformer Robot is a single-player game.
