A Day In History: Adolf Hitler Assassination Attempt

On July 20th of 1944 the July Plot would transpire. This was part of an adjusted plan known as Operation Valykrie which now included the assassination of Adolf Hitler. Claus Von Stauffenberg planted a bomb in a fortified bunker known as Wolf's Lair where Hitler was scheduled to meet with other German officials.
