Nightwolf is a character in the fighting game series Mortal Kombat. Nightwolf was the first Indian character in the Mortal Kombat and was introduced in Mortal Kombat 3.
Although it was presented as a historian and as a shaman from northern Mexico and the southern United States, he does not live in the past. He is a proud and fierce warrior dedicated to the cause of good and is in contact with Raiden through visions. As such, he uses both internal and external spiritual energy to enhance his strength in combat. Nightwolf prefers solitary work to fellowship. Dog has a wolf named Kiba.
While Raiden is the God who guides the heroes , Nightwolf is something like the spiritual guru of the team. It is common in fighting games add a competitor of American Indian origin, has ThunderHawk Street Fighter , Soul Blade Rock etc etc . Normally as colossal and brutal warriors in an animated series or a comic would be the first to take a good beating Liu Kang or Kung Lao or any hero. Nightwolf occupies the role of warrior and shaman aligned well shown his mystic warrior side . Its main role in Mortal Kombat 3 has been essential , their sacred lands were immune to witchcraft only when Shao Kahn began his campaign to conquer Earth which served as headquarters of the Resistance to the Emperor. A character so could not be left like that, and along with Sindel and Kabal including group were unjustly abandoned.
