Salman Khan films are known for their masala action scenes (Dabangg, Jai Ho are examples). Only one exception was Ek Tha Tiger, where we could see stylized action scenes. So, keeping viewers’ complains in mind, Salman Khan decided to go for stylized action for his next Kick, directed by producer and debutante director Sajid Nadiadwala. Kick is the remake of 2009 Telugu film of the same name starring Ravi Teja and Ileana D’Cruz. The Telugu film had stylized car chases and sophisticated action compared to what we usually see in Telugu films. Salman Khan’s film is also going to have high octane action sequences. As per reports, Salman Khan wants to have action similar to that of Aamir Khan’s Dhoom 3.

For the same, Salman Khan lost so much weight for the film. Now he looks slim and fit for the role. Also, the budget of the movie is high considering they wanted to have superior action. To aid this, action director Philippe Guegan has been roped in who has been responsible for stunts in films like RUSH HOUR, THE TRANSPORTER, TAXI, HITMAN etc.
