Italian Cleaning Woman Mistakenly Throws Out Valuable Artworks

Highly valuable pieces of art have been trashed due to a cleaning woman’s critical mistake. It’s unclear how the error occurred or if any instructions were given to the lady beforehand to prevent such a mishap.

She had no clue the two pieces were supposed to be a crucial part of that same exhibition. The woman reportedly handed off one of the contemporary works, which included scraps of cookies that were scattered on the floor, to city sanitation workers.
It wasn't specified if the cleaning lady received any disciplinary action following the incident, but the head of the company she worked for realized the incident was an error and said ‘she was just doing her job’.
The cleaning business’ insurance will cover the cost of the junked art, which was valued at a little under $14,000.
