Mickey Mania: The Timeless Adventures of Mickey Mouse review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Mickey Mania: The Timeless Adventures of Mickey Mouse for the Super Nintendo developed by Traveller’s Tales and published by Sony.

Travel back in time with the one and only Mickey Mouse as he revisits some of his greatest moments in animation. Mickey Mania turns classic Mickey cartoons into 2D platforming levels, 16 years before Epic Mickey did the same thing. Mickey Mania has playable versions of Steamboat Willie, The Mad Doctor, Moose Hunters, Lonesome Ghosts, Mickey and the Beanstalk and The Prince and the Pauper. The Genesis version also includes a level based on The Band Concert. Each level is a gorgeous 16-bit version of its cartoon, recreating its moments and music with meticulous detail and polish. Mickey Mania is a visually beautiful game, even on the stripped-down Super Nintendo version. On the list of Mickey’s greatest games, this one deserves a place right next to Castle of Illusion and The Magical Quest. Mickey Mania is a single-player platformer.

This video review features video gameplay footage of Mickey Mania: The Timeless Adventures of Mickey Mouse for the Super Nintendo and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
