"Titanfall" launches on Xbox One

South by SouthWest began as a music festival, then film was introduced and finally it went interactive, so it's a fitting place for the launch of one of the most anticipated games of 2014, "Titanfall".

The developers boast that "Titanfall" pushes the boundaries of first person shooter gaming with increased mobility and fluidity of graphics.

Players can also enter into "Titans" - giant mechanical killing machines - to achieve their goals.

The game, which is exclusive to Xbox One and PC, has a lot to live up to.

Even prior to its release, it has already won numerous awards including Best in Show at the 2013 E3 gaming convention.

However, with the gaming market oversaturated with first person shooters, it will have to capture people's imaginations enough to climb to the top of the pile.

Microsoft, the company behind Xbox One, are selling the console with the game at a lower price in the hope that it can win the war with its main rival, Playstation 4.
