Stephanie Hamman has been accused of driving her vehicle into a church and stabbing her husband.

A woman in Church Hill, Tennessee is now in serious trouble following an utterly bizarre incident that went down around 10 on a Sunday night.

The lady, Stephanie Hamman, has been accused of crashing her vehicle into a church and then stabbing her husband when he came to her aid. According to her hubby, Steven Hamman, Stephanie called him after driving her car through the front doors of the church.

"When Stephanie's husband Steven Hamman went looking for her, he found her lying in front of the altar. He told police she then stabbed him in the chest with a large kitchen knife." [WATE]

Steven was able to pull the weapon out and run home where he called police.

By the time cops got there, Stephanie wasn’t in the church. They soon found her in a local hospital.

Once questioned, Stephanie admitted to stabbing her hubby and stated ‘The devil told me to take the kitchen knife with me. I prayed I would not have to use it on him, but I did. When Steven came to check on me, I told him the devil was in me and I stabbed him in the heart.’

She also confessed to smoking a lot of marijuana and that God told her to only smoke at night for relaxation purposes. Stephanie also said she was mad at her husband because he was worshipping the NASCAR race.

She is now facing charges of ‘attempted first degree murder and felony vandalism.’
