Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Nekketsu Kakutou Densetsu for Nintendo Famicom developed and published by Technos Japan.

Nekketsu Kakutou Densetsu discards all the rest of the trappings of the Kunio-kun series. There's no side-scrolling beat-'em-up elements. There's no sports. There's just you, your partner, two guys looking to fight the two of you, and an arena full of hazards where you're going to get down to it. It's a straightforward brawl that gave the Famicom a taste of the kind of fistfighting action that console would otherwise be incapable of.
