Sébastian Loeb took his maiden win in the WTCC in what was only his second start in this championship. Jose Maria Pechito Lopez took 2nd and the championship's lead. Hugo Valente finished 3rd, in front of Tom Chilton and Mehdi Bennani, who overtook many cars after a drive through penalty (because he pushed Tom Coronel at the start).
