Homeless man brutally beaten with beach chair on Venice Beach boardwalk

A video posted online shows a man, described as homeless, being savagely beaten along the Venice Beach boardwalk early on Friday, in what Los Angeles police say was an unprovoked attack, according to a report by CBS Los Angeles.
The footage shows two young men viciously beating the unidentified man with what appear to be plastic rods.
Police say the victim may have been acquainted with the two men who attacked him.
"It was a vicious attack, obviously, and appeared to be unprovoked. And, certainly, we want to capture the individual involved," said Captain Brian Johnson, according to the CBS report. "It certainly was a very violent attack."
At one point in the video one of the suspects is seen picking up a collapsible beach chair and, with his bare ass exposed by his sagging jeans, beating the victim repeatedly as he lies on the boardwalk pavement. The suspect can be heard repeatedly shouting, "This is my beach!."
Neighborhood resident James Karhu recorded the incident, which local police say may help them track down the two suspects.
