She’s got the whole world in her hands! Cooking Mama steps out from the kitchen and into the garden in Gardening Mama 2: Forest Friends. A sequel to the 2009 original, Gardening Mama 2 lets players grow 50 different types of plants, ranging from strawberries and oranges to tomatoes and tulips! The game is part farming game, part business simulator. Mama receives requests from businesses like restaurants and floral shops, and it’s up to you to plant what they need and ship them out. Doing so earns you experience points, which level up your garden. You can also play minigames you receive in the mail, which let you plant new seeds, and decorate your garden with different items. Gardening Mama 2: Forest Friends is a colorful and kid-friendly game that’s also addictive enough for older players. It supports single-player play on the 3DS.
