"Where can we go now? "- Bosnian flood victim

A military barracks becomes home to people in Bosnia as the region is hit by the worst flooding in more than a century.

The government says more than a quarter of Bosnia's four million people have been hit by the severe weather.

(SOUNDBITE) (Bosnian) KALESIJA RESIDENT, NIJAZ SULJIC, SAYING:

"I was sleeping and when I got up at 5.30 in the morning I went to the barn. When I opened the door I could see a deep abyss of fifty meters. I have nothing left now. I am here for now, and we'll see what will be in the future."

Landslides added to the misery in Bosnia.

Some lost everything during the Bosnian war, and 20 years later they face the same situation.
