Central African President: "We will come out of this crisis"

Burning tires and a fragile calm in the capital Bangui days after 17 people were killed in a church compound, and two others were shot dead by Burundian peacekeepers.
Central African President Catherine Samba-Panza is reiterating her call for the violence to end.
(SOUNDBITE) (French) CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC PRESIDENT CATHERINE SAMBA-PANZA, SAYING:
"I am not losing sight of the anger of innocent victims of these barbaric acts, which don't seem to have any immediate solutions but the law of revenge. Central African people, dear compatriots, I have said it before and repeat it that it's not in cultivating the spirit of revenge that we will come out of this crisis, which has deep roots in the history of our country."
