This small, compact flashback arrestor by the German company WITT has revolutionised safety in welding. The flashback arrestor provides protection against backfire, flashbacks and explosive mixtures in the gas supply. A multi-stage protection system, based on the dry flashback arrestor that WITT launched on the market around 70 years ago.
A modern quality flashback arrestor made by WITT has at least three protection elements: a gas non-return valve, a flame arrestor and a temperature-sensitive cut-off valve. A pressure-sensitive cut-off valve can also be added - ensuring maximum safety.
Flashback arrestors are available in brass or stainless steel, for all technical gases and all connections.
