Pace University puts innovation into performing arts

On May 16th, Pace University officially became home to Manhattan's first performing arts program in nearly 50 years.

The school's director, Jorge Cacheiro says the school will offer students an original curriculum and unique experiences.

"What is really special is a spirit of innovation and immediacy. And a really high level of faculty, mentorship and hands-on investment in the students."

Cacheiro says they will not compete with Julliard or New York University, but will aim to address the urgency in the entertainment industry.
