Trucker in Tracy Morgan crash went 24 hours without sleep

The Wal-Mart driver that may have triggered that fatal accident in New Jersey over the weekend that left comedian Tracy Morgan critically injured may have gone for more than 24 hours without any sleep.

That's according to a criminal complaint on Monday.

Thirty-five-year-old Kevin Roper of Georgia remains free on a $50,000 bail.

He's scheduled to make a court appearance on Wednesday to face charges of "death by auto" and four other counts of "assault by auto".

Saturday's six-car accident in Cranbury Township killed 62-year-old comedian James McNair.

Joan Claybrook, is a former head of the National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration.

She says driver fatigue is a leading cause of many of these big rig crashes.
