BattleBots: Design & Destroy review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of BattleBots: Design & Destroy for the Game Boy Advance developed by Cave Barn Studios and published by Majesco.

BattleBots: Design & Destroy is a follow-up to—or an improved of—an earlier Game Boy Advance game called BattleBots: Beyond The BattleBox. Due to that game’s poor reception, Majesco fixed it up and reshipped it as BattleBots: Design & Destroy. Based on the television show BattleBots, this game tasks players with creating their own fighting robot from the ground up. From the skeleton to the body and the motor to the wheels, you’re in charge of everything about your robot. There are four different weight classes to build in, and once you’re finished, you can take your robot into battle. If you’d prefer to skip straight into battle with the design element, you can also play in an arena mode and choose from 16 pre-made robots. BattleBots: Design & Destroy offers single-player and local multiplayer play.

This video review features video gameplay footage of BattleBots: Design & Destroy for the Game Boy Advance and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
