BUSINESS DAILY - BNP Paribas 'has cash' to cover $8.9bn record fine

France’s largest bank, BNP Paribas, says it has sufficient cash to cover a record $8.9 billion fine from US authorities for breaching sanctions on Iran, Sudan and Cuba. Shares in the lender opened up in Paris after the bank announced it would pay a dividend similar to last year’s. Also today: it's a good day to talk in Europe, as mobile roaming charges fall for calls, text messages and data.
