Dunya News - KP police nabs TTP commander involved in firing on PIA plane & arrest four terrorists, seize arms

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police here on Wednesday arrested the banned Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP’s) commander involved in PIA plane firing incident at Peshawar Airport.
According to police, Ali Hyder, commander of the banned Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Shahid group has been arrested.
Ali Hyder was involved in attacking the Pakistan International Airline (PIA) plane at Peshawar Bacha Khan International Airport in which a woman was killed and two crew members were injured.

Peshawar police on Wednesday also seized 5kg explosives along with two grenades from a vehicle and took at least four suspected terrorists into custody, Dunya News reported.
Police stopped the vehicle on Kohat Road to search over suspicion. Upon searching, two grenades, two pistols, a Kalashnikov, and five kilogram explosives were recovered. Police took all four persons in the car into custody. Those arrested were identified as Inayat, Sajid, Usman and Shah Hussain.
