Beverly Hills vigil for killed Israeli teens

Plaintive sounds from the Beth Jacob Congregation in Beverly Hills, in California.

Hundreds gathered here to mourn the three missing Israeli teenagers whose bodies were discovered on Sunday near Hebron on the West Bank.

SOUNDBITE: DAVID SIEGEL, CONSUL GENERAL OF ISRAEL, SAYING:

"Their smiles reminded us, the mothers and fathers among us, of our very own children."

The teenagers went missing in the West Bank on June 12 while hitchhiking.

Israel blames Hamas Islamists for their abduction and killing,

Tuesday's congregation was united in its purpose.

SOUNDBITE: DAVID SIEGEL, CONSUL GENERAL OF ISRAEL, SAYING:

"The message is that we need to stand united against terrorism."

SOUNDBITE: LIHI SHAER, VICTIM'S AUNT, SAYING:

"The victims were only three helpless boys."

The aunt of one of the boys, 16-year-old Gilad Shaer, found comfort in the congregation.
