They're stocking up with flour and canned goods they hope will hold them over.
Some residents say they have nowhere to run.

"There was bombing yesterday. Everyone who could escape, ran away somewhere. And me, I'm old, I am sixty years old, where can I run?"

"Well, we have no light, the fridge is dead, the meat is spoiling. So I've salted it. Well, you can eat it, but the quality is different."
