Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Ashok Chopra Marg Inauguration | Priyanka Chopra, Uddhav Thackeray

Veteran politician Uddhav Thackeray along with Bollywood Diva Priyanka Chopra inaugurated a road in Andheri named as Lt Col Dr Ashok Chopra Marg, a road named after Priyanka Chopra’s father. Priyanka Chopra along with her entire family which includes mother Madhu Chopra, cousin Parineeti Chopra were present at the inaugural ceremony.While speaking with media Priyanka said, “It’s a moment of pride for my entire family. My dad was a person who has touched many hearts.” Priynaka, further added, “Many people asked me if the road has been named after my father because of me but I would want to clarify that it’s not true. I am not here because I am Priyanka Chopra, but I am here because I am Dr Ashok Chopra’s daughter.”When asked about does she know the process required to named a road on this Priyanka said Instead of me asking this question you should ask Mr Uddhav Thackeray as i feel he is a better person to ask this question. Priyanka had requested Mr Thackeray to inaugurate the road. When asked if she would return the favour by helping the veteran politician in campaigning for elections, pat she replied, “Uddhav Ji is like family. If he calls me I will definitely support him in elections.”
