Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow video review of Child of Light for XBox 360, developed by Ubisoft Montreal, Ubisoft Massive, and Ubisoft Romania and published by Ubisoft.

Child of Light is a tough bird to classify: It's part RPG, involving turn-based battles and item and stat manipulaton on a grand scale. It's part platformer, as our young heroine Aurora climbs about the landscape, occasionally using her firefly companion to blind enemies without getting into direct conflict. It's part action, as even the turn-based sections can be influenced by controlling the position and brightness of your firefly to delay enemy turns or restore HP to your own party. And finally, it's part fairy tale, a storybook adventure that plucks a girl out of 1890's Austria and drops her into a foreign land full of danger and hypercapitalist mice.

This video review features video gameplay footage of Child of Light for XBox 360 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.
