Adnan Oktar: We gave John Kerry one of my books today, ‘Islam Condemns terror’ and others. He was delighted. His advisors forwarded his thanks. Good results can be achieved with these books, because practical results can derive from culture. America needs to be strong enough to debate with ISIL’s ideological system. There are people who can overcome them intellectually.
- Defense Secretary Chuck Heagal’s spokesman John Curby has said; ‘The military is only one element in the fight against ISIL. We also need to eradicate its ideology.’
Adnan Oktar: Fine, but he does not say what needs to be done, does he? They find it hard to put into words. Because when they say they need to eliminate the ideology, they cannot find anyone to do it. Because there are these traditionalist Sunni elders. My apologies to the good ones among them, but they will apply to the cowardly ones. They cannot win with the statements of those people. Their idea of victory in the ideological sense is not more than a fond wish. That is wrong. They need to do it sincerely. There is no system that can defeat ISIL’s ideology other than the system of the Mahdi. Let them show one if they know one. Let me see them say that such and such a system can defeat it. If they do that I will immediately sign up to it. But there isn’t one.
